We all have so many things to be thankful for in our lives. With all the busyness in our lives, especially at this time of year, it is important to take the time to remember all the blessings in our lives. This week, I am thankful for VACATION! Today is my last work day for the rest of the year. I can’t even tell you how much I need this break. I am so looking forward to some great relaxation and fun times with family.

We had a combined birthday celebration for both Jesse and Andrew on Saturday night. We had a fun and relaxing time together. Jesse requested lasagna and Andrew concurred… so that’s what Mom made them.

Yay… Ashley is here! I started taking a few pictures, then we all started getting a little silly and everyone wanted their picture in front of the tree.

Jesse’s other birthday request was a peanut butter and jelly pie from Nicole. She brought that to Thanksgiving and Jesse really liked it, so he put in a special request for her to make it again.

Then Sunday was a very successful shopping day. All of our Christmas shopping is basically done! All in all a great weekend.

I love how excited Jesse always gets about his birthday. He reminds me on the 18th of every month how many months are left until his birthday. That’s one of the best things about Jesse is how the simplest things can make him happy. When I come home from a bad day, he will tell about his day like everything that happened that day is the greatest thing ever. He has a never ending positive attitude that you just can’t help but be drawn to. I am so very lucky to have him as my partner for life. Happy birthday to my BEST friend!
